Summa!

This summer is going to be one of epic proportions! I have been out of school for two weeks now and so far my time has consisted of me working on my mothers day present for my mom(a movie/talk show/slideshow I made with old family photos(she LOVED it)), and working at good old K-mart. In two more weeks, things are going to get a little bit more interesting when my brother Clark and his wife Lindsay come to Logan for a visit. I am going to pick them up from the airport and immediately following that, we are going to go feast on some really good food(we hope) at a little restaurant called Adobos Carribean Grill(it is Puerto Rican food). Tostones and arroz con habichuelas here we come(It's making me hungry just thinking about it)!

We are then going to spend four days in Yellowstone/Jackson Hole. Lindsay has never been to Yellowstone so we are making that a part of their trip. I am excited for the excursion(and hope it won't be too cold). You will be hearing more about this trip though when it actually happens. I can't wait to see Clark and Lindsay!

Then following that trip, I will just continue to work and save up my money for July when my mom and I will be going here:

And Here:

Yes folks, we are going to Washington DC and NYC! I am SO excited!!!! Both of these places have been on my bucket list for a very long time... My sister Tamsin and her family recently moved to Warrenton,Virginia(about 45 min from DC) so my mom and I decided to take a trip out there to visit them. Since they are so close to DC, we have to go take in all the sights there and we decided it would be fun to take a train to New York for a few days. This is going to be a trip of the lifetime and as much as I would like it to, may not be one that will ever happen again, so I am planning to enjoy it to the max! If you have any suggestions of must-see places(besides the obvious ones) we should go(places to see, or to eat at, stay at, etc), please feel free to share them. Watch out big cities, cause here we come!

Reminiscing

This past weekend one of my favorite companions from the mission, Hermana Turpin (a.k.a Krissy Thornton) came up to Logan and had a sleepover and spent some time with me. We had SO much fun! We reminisced about the mission(a lot), went out to dinner, watched a movie, played, and laughed A LOT. I love her SO much and am so grateful that we live fairly close to each other so we can see each other occasionally. We only served one transfer together, but we became such good friends in those six weeks so I am grateful that I still get to see her. Unfortunately we didn't take any pictures, but here are some of us from the mission just to show you how much fun we had on the mission(we still have this much fun now).
