There is nothing more that I love in this life than my family. Living on the east coast has especially given me a new appreciation for them as I don't get to see them as often. So when I got the news that my brother Sam was getting married(yes, another Bryner finally tied the knot), I couldn't wait for an opportunity to see my family again.
A couple of weeks ago, I boarded a plane and got to spend a fantastic week with my wonderful family in Arizona. The weather was gorgeous(it actually got a little too warm at times), the wedding was beautiful, and the company was beyond great. Since the weather was so nice, we spent a lot of time outside; in the pool, on the tramp, playing on the grass, or just sitting on the patio. It was so nice just being able to spend time with family and not have any worries (beyond wedding stuff that is).
That wedding! My brother Sam and his new wife Emily are the cutest couple. SO in love! It was the first of my siblings' weddings I was able to attend in the temple and I was so grateful to be there. I know without a doubt being sealed in the temple is an ordinance that we can participate in that allows us to live forever with our family, even after this life. I couldn't ask for a better family to spend eternity with.
It was hard to leave my family and get on the plane to come back to Virginia. I'm not sure when the next time is that I will be able to make it out that way, but I'm already looking forward to it. Maybe the next time I see some of you will be here in Virginia. (hint, hint) ;)
